I love this app and hope to see that there will be a dedicated iOS version for the new iPhone Xs Max!
This would definitely replace the built in music player for me. I love the simplicity of it and especially the visualizers. That’s a must have for any music app. It makes the music listening experience much better.

Please! I am holding out hope that dedicated Plexamp apps will come out as part of your music push.
Ideally with the ability to sync stuff for offline playback.

I think Plexamp on iOS could also have an additional killer feature - CarPlay support. As an audio only player this would be a lot easier than trying to bring CarPlay to the main Plex app on iOS.
That would be AWESOME and I’m surprised that we still have no PlexAmp player for IOS. It IS the KILLER MUSIC player that we need to carry with us anywhere!!! Add offline file capabilities and it would be perfect!

Plex should just buy the existing Prism app, give it a little makeover in the Plex style, and you’re done

Nope, it doesn’t. The beta finally has playlists. I like the new app personally. It can’t hurt to try, it has a 7 day trial.
Not bad (tried it) but really needs radio support for me.
Also no support for Plex Direct unfortunately, so it doesn’t work with my library
