Intro detection broken - 6 months now

Server Version#: 1.41.1.9057 through 1.41.6.9685
Player Version#: 1.109.0.329-ea562b95

Since updating to 1.41.1.9057, I’ve noticed that after new shows are added the detection runs as per normal, but I’m left with a player dashboard message “Detecting Intros: Some show S03”

I see nothing in the server dashboard or alerts, but checking my CPU usage, yeah it’s doing something.

Its running on unRaid in a docker from the plexinc repository. No other issues I can see.

Intro detection stuff should be in the Plex Media Server.log is you have one covering when it should have run for those episodes.

Thanks.

Found the correct log file, discovered an error, searched that and found a thread on Reddit that suggested “Delete the codecs directory.”

Done, restarted, and intro detection is working again.

Would you mind still giving me your logs. Just so we can see what the server saw and hopefully it can be resolved more easily and maybe we get a more informative error message when it happens.

Sadly, the logs are now gone.

However I was seeing “EAE timeout! EAE not running, or wrong folder?” in the Plex Media Server.log
