Intro detection not working, how to get official support?

I haven’t had the Intro Detection work in the past few months… really sad plex doesn’t have a support ticketing system even if it was only for plex pass members.

No changes to my server, when it did work i used to get an entire season intro detected in about 10 minutes, now i can let it sit overnight and maybe get 1 episode if I am lucky. I just assumed it was a bug in an update and reported it on reddit. I was then blasted by a plex employee as “being a complainer”. That’s when I gave up trying to report it. Hoping this restores my faith in plex bug reporting…

I optimized a single episode of a season stuck on intro detection and it appears all 5 season intro detection just completed in roughly 15 minutes. Seems pretty consistent across multiple users hopefully that helps find the root cause.

if it was really a plex employee (and not just someone claiming to be that) that then i would drop the CEO an email about that and hopefully he can bring his staff back into line, that’s, of course, assuming that’s not culture the CEO wants in the company.

Was that here on the forums? I only see you’ve ever made 1 other comment and there were no direct responses that I saw. And it wasn’t about intro detection. Caught exception trying to convert extra data attribute 'originallyAvailableAt' with type 1 and value <Date> ~ bad lexical cast: source type value could not be interpreted as target - #10 by yankees5963

it was on reddit by someone with the “plex employee” flag against their name.
