Don’t know if this is posted in the right place, but will hear about it, the invite friends feature with plex pass has been removed and replaced with invite home users.
Scroll down to the Friends section and there should be a share libraries button.
I know, I just wanted to hear if the invite friends feature has been replaced with invite home users.
I have invited 3 friends who have been there for a long time, but now the opportunity to invite more friends is gone, instead, something has come to the top where I can invite home users, it is a new feature, instead of inviting friends.
You can still invite/share with friends by clicking on the Share Libraries button. It does the same thing as the invite friends button did.
How many friends are allowed with a plex pass.
You can have up to 14 others in your Plex home (any combination of regular shared accounts and/or Managed users)
You can do a regular share of your libraries with up to 100 Plex accounts. This is not a Plex Pass feature and has always been free.
thanks for the help.
The ‘100’ figure is the total of “Regular shares” + Home users, and your Admin account counts as a Home user. So if you have 10 Home users including your Admin account, you can have 90 “regular shares.”
If you have no home users, it’s unclear to me whether that means you can share with 100 friends, or 99. @BigWheel?
