Both my AppleTV4K (TVos 17) units are affected. It was only the Movies. Now the TV Shows too.

My Apple TVs and iOS devices are affected by this as well.
Latest version of server on Mac (1.32.6.7557 macOS 14.0) and latest version of the app for tvOS (8.26 tvOS 17.0) and iOS (8.26 iOS 17.0.3)
Don’t you test an app BEFORE you release it?
BTW, my friend has auto updates off and is still running Plex v8.10 (4002) on his ATV4K and everything works fine!
Bummer with Apple… no rolling back (anything) So we’re stuck waiting for Steve to push the fix he mentioned TWO weeks ago.

I have this issue as well across my iOS and tvOS devices. I don’t know if it’s related, but it takes several seconds to load item detail pages now as well. Clicking a movie, for instance, will load for about 15 seconds on average before the cast icons show (no images, just initials and I can’t click on individual icons there) as well as trailers/extras.
Playing the media is also delayed until the metadata loads. Even long-pressing an item from the Home Screen and selecting play hangs for several seconds before starting.
This is with Plex running in a Docker container with all data on an NVMe SSD, only my actual media files are on an unraid array.
The iOS update released today (8.27) seems to have fixed things on iPhone and iPad on my end. Now just waiting for the AppleTV update.
Edit: and it seems it’s fixed now on AppleTV as well.
No offense intended to the Plex Staff but I’m disabling auto-updates on for my apps for a while. In the last year there have been too many times where an update broke quite important parts of functionality. It makes me question just how thorough these updates get tested before release.
I’ll update my apps manually from now when I’m satisfied no major issues have cropped up.

Hmm, somehow I still can not click on the actors in the general movie screen on my iPad - only when cast & crew is clicked… On my iPhone, everything works as expected…
