IOS advanced - Server connection 401 error?

So I have my server configuret and I can access the server by going to:
https://XXX:XXX:XXX:XXX.34200

But when I am trying to setup acces under the IOS App:
Settings - Advanced - Server connection

I get a 401 error?
I can only get local access added here?

Are the app and server not signed into your account?

Yes I am the owner of my server and signed in on both server and iPhone, its working and I have playback without the advanced server connection.

I would really like to configure direct access by my fixed IP to my server.
(My hope is that this will help me use the download feature).

I also read that I should set the user defined URL under the settings for the server.
So I have added the:

https://domainname.com,https://domainname.com:34200,http://192.168.0.X:32400,https://WANIP:32400

I can se that under the server remote access, I have a green OK with the wan IP listed as the access point.

Private 192.168.0.X : 32400 Public: WANIP: 32400 Internet (Green checkmark)

If i open a browser and go to:
https://WANIP:32400 - I can confirm that access works!
Just not in the IOS app advanced settings - server connection

I’m not really clear what you mean by “direct access”. If you are on the same network it would be connecting locally already. If you remote the connection and remote access is working properly with the green check (not using relay) it is not bring routed through some other system

The manual server option is really only for local access when for example your internet goes down and things like authentication does not work

How is the downloads feature misbehaving?

Actually - First it didn’t work.
But after adding the above user defined URLS to the server it started working.
user defined URL under server settings:

https://domainname.com,https://domainname.com:34200,http://192.168.0.X:32400,https://WANIP:32400

But its so incredible slow… (MY hope was that the advanced server access would speed it up).
But if all its intending for is local access when the internet is down then it will not make any difference I guess.

I thought that me having a reverse proxy with a registered cert. domain name was the reason for the slow download speeds? - But I also have the https:WANIP:32400 defined in the server settings so maybee that isnt the problem (I am not transcoding anything and the file is relativ small 1G episode.
