App crashes on start, nothing is loaded (including the startup animation). Plex amp and other devices are properly accessing the server.

Exactly the same here, Plex on iOS has become unusable.
When you:
Uninstall
Reboot
Install
Relink
It still crashes ?

Me too, usually need three goes before it actually works.
This has only happened recently. As in the last few weeks. It was rock solid every time before then. Even if my server was down.
Plexamp also seems to do it on occasion but not as often, but the new Plexamp app takes forever to load now.
iPhone 13 mini, latest iOS.

Seems a bit like unplugging you cable box, waiting 10 seconds, and plugging it back in to me. Why is this the solution? What changed in the app that is causing it to crash in this way?
I have it happen in on my iPhone and iPad. iPad seems to be worse off. With my iPhone it crashes at random.sometimes it’s straight at launch, sometimes while you are watching a movie or show. I’ve had this problem for a few weeks but I hadn’t wanted to report it since I don’t use plex on mobile all that often as of late. But since it’s still happening, i decided it’s time to make sure Plex is aware of the issue. I’ve had it crash 3-4 times before it seems to be stable enough to watch a show. I do not have the problem on desktop, Roku, or Apple TV.
