Ios app keeps 'forgetting' there is a Plex server manually configured after closing the app

Server Version#: 1.32.2.7100
Player Version#: 8.7.3

Local Wifi only. I have to do this every single time.

“No content from your pinned sources” displays for a moment then it wipes everything.

  1. Open App
  2. Advanced → Manually Configure Server
  3. Everything works, plays, shows up.
  4. Close App
  5. Open app back up.
  6. Everything is removed.
  7. Remove server Adanced → Manual → Swipe left.
  8. Re-add server
  9. Everything works again.

Is this saying it doesn’t understand I’m a lifetime subscriber and removing the content?

My initial recommendation would be to start by troubleshooting why this is necessary to begin with. It should not be, assuming that you have signed into both your server and the iPadOS client.

So, are you signed into both your server and the iPadOS client? It’s showing account info in the logging, so that implies it has at least some knowledge of your account. But without additional context around where these logs fit from your steps above, it’s hard to tell.

Just the iPad is signed in. I should have no issues using it this way as other mobile clients work fine.

There are several other devices which do not have internet access which stream from this device. Claiming the server breaks this ability.

I just had to give up on the iPad IOS client. If it doesn’t work for my setup which is a supported setup; then it just doesn’t work.
