iOS app update has lots of problems

The staff would rather write fake reviews and channel an entitled developer attitude with sarcastic posts here rather than admit they made mistakes and have a plan to fix them

they already made their money with plex, they dont really need to care about quality anymore. no pride whatsoever

Somebody mentioned in a post in the forum this last week that the employees were “out of the office” on a day last week (could have been multiple days or even all of last week). I’m mentioning this because there was no information on the next update nor did we get what have been weekly updates. Maybe they were out celebrating the “success” of the new app.

Going to add that I still cannot download videos to ANY of my iOS devices despite purchasing the lifetime plex pass.

In my parent post I reported repeatable bugs that freeze the interface. One would think this was a critical issue. Two weeks later a new release doesn’t fix the bugs.

Videos still remain as “queued” and never download. The app is quite literally unusable. And apparently I’m expected to just be patient and eventually everything may be usable again? I’m beyond frustrated at being treated this way. It’s appalling.

I just got a lifetime Plex Pass before the price rise, now I can’t download anything like I used to. Everything on my iPad migrated to nothing, and I had to delete the files manually. Now any download stays in ‘Queued’, not moving. Very disappointing for an app I have invested heavily in and was singing the praises of even a few weeks ago.

Is there a timeline at all for the downloads issue to get fixed? It’s about 70% of my watch time and the reason I got a lifetime Plex Pass.
