First of congratulations on the new downloads feature, the background downloads work great.
There is only one problem I noticed which was introduced a couple of versions after the downloads rework was released.
If I download a episode or movie on my iPhone and have the quality setting set to original (or just something that doesn’t transcode the file), the resulting file can not be played back when the download finishes.
I know that this is a regression since I have some downloads in original quality on my phone from before the update which just work fine (Note: these are not migrated downloads from before the download rework).
Also all these files work absolutely fine when streamed over the network and direct play without issues.
