And add an option to hide library hub.
It’s totally unnecessary when you only have one library
I totally agree with that. To have the libraries on the home screen ist unnecessary because they are also at the bottom of the screen. So, a switch to turn them off would be nice.
Furthermore, why does the library hub on the home screen not use the custom ordering instead of the default ordering? This should be changed!
You can reorder then if you have them set as favorites.
If you have no favorites it shows all. I am taking it that if you have no favorites you would like it not to be shown at all. which is fair.
We added be because some folks didn’t like having to click on libraries then the second step to choose one. But I get where you are coming from.

I have reordered my libraries but nevertheless the hub on the home screen uses the default alphabetical order.
You are right. I’ll file an issue about that.

I only have two libraries one per Movies and the other one for TV Shows, both marked as favorites.
My point is the following, if you do not need to select or change library, because there is only one option and it is already selected by default, it is not necessary to show it on screen, or otherwise enable an option for the user to hide it.
