Manage Home Screen

Can we get a way to manage the Plex Home screen layout? I don’t need all Plex stuff at the top and would like a better way to organize it.

you can already control the order and what content is being displayed on the home screen to some degree – e.g. by pinning/unpinning certain libraries / online media sources or by changing their order in the sidebar. This can be configured individually for different client apps… find below how it’s done in Plex Web as a reference

You can also control what hubs will be presented per library – this can be customized for your own home screen and library “recommended” tabs as well as the home screen of users with whom you’re sharing those libraries.

As for “more control” – there’s already two feature suggestions asking for an option to control the order of individual hubs and users to be able to control what hubs are showing on their home screen.

The problem is I am unable to sort my own libraries. I can move the default Plex ones.

Which app is that (platform/version)?
All the ones coming to mind have an option to sort libraries pinned to the sidebar (not in the More section).

You can sort pinned libraries.

If the sidebar is in the MORE mode, the libraries are sorted by server → library type → library title. But the MORE mode is not how you normally access your libraries.

It is less bad, but my home screen no matter what I do is Plex stuff first, if I want to see my collection not Plex on the top of my Plex screen, I guess I could just turn them off and use Pluto or Tubi to get my other semi-live content

I am not sure what you are looking at.

Could you show a screenshot please, of the full screen?

(please drag the jpg file directly into this forum editor, don’t embed them from an external service)

Thanks for everyone’s help, I figured it out, having the folders pinned to the sidebar did not add it to the main home screen like I thought it did. It was annoying me to no end, it was so much easier to organize for IOS than the web.

I am still unsure what you are doing. Normally you can only pin libraries to the side bar, not folders.
