iOS - Managed User - no Plex Pass features, like new video player?

I saw a prevous thread, but it was about syncing.

I created a new “managed user” for my iPad so it wouldn’t confict with movies watched with the family from the Apple TV/etc.

However, that new user doesn’t have access to the Plex Pass only features, like the experimental player? Is there any way to authorize it?
