iOS PiP not working

Hey, i have a problem with Plex and PiP. It just doesn’t work at all.

When i start something (everything is direct played) the playback works without problems, as soon as i hit the PiP button it just does nothing (spinning loading wheel) or immediately states “Error Something went wrong”. This happens on both my iPhone 12 and iPad Air (4th Gen).

Is this a problem on my side or the app?

No one has this problem too?

Have you tried switching to the old (standard Apple) video player? Settings > Advanced > Use Old Video Player

I find the new player has all sorts of issues with native iOS features. Give this a try and see if PiP starts working.

Nope doesn’t work. Nobody else has this problem?
