What do you actually want to achieve?
Yes, if the Plex server is installed on the same machine where your player is running, then both will use the same IP.
(Usually, that is. There might some special cases like when virtual machines or containers are used.)
Thanks for your reply, I was asking this to see if I should enter a different Ip adress on my TV to acces the plex server on my laptop, but it seems to be OK then.
Just connect both the server and the Plex client to your plex.tv account.
Then the clients get the server’s addresse(es) automatically.
