Why am i seeing Private Unknown IP adress at remote access?
You’ll need to share some more details of what issue you experience. Your post is not as clear as it might seem to you
Sorry for late reply.
Here is what i did before encountering the issue:
Restarted my router, plex wasn’t working anymore.
For some reason i had to change encrypted connection from required to preffered.
I also changed the last 2 digits from my synology adress. Because i thought that would fix the issue.
But it didn’t.
Are there more details i can give to try to solve the issue?
Not sure if/how changing the local IP address of your Syno or changing the secure-connection configuration should impact the remote access experience (it certainly will have an impact but the question is why to tinker with those bits individually)?!
Let’s start with explaining what problem you’re trying to fix with all that.
When i go to my synology adress i get a login page but i see :
This application is on (nas IP) and is not hosted by plex. Only continue if you reconize this server en give access.
Idk whats wrong
There’s nothing wrong about that message. It’s just Plex telling you that you’re accessing the bundled version of Plex Web running locally on a server, not the version hosted by Plex. If you don’t know the server owner, you might want to be careful (e.g. because you don’t know if their server is patched or might have some security constraints).
Given this is your very own Synology/PMS, you should be ok to „take that risk“
