The Plex iPad app now fails to persist the preferred view (e.g. Browse), for every single library.
My account/server settings indicate that this information should persist. And all the apps used to do a decent job at that. But now, every single time I relaunch the iPad app, it ignores my last used view setting for every library, always landing me back at the undesired Recommended view. I don’t like that view, I worked very hard at my Browse view.
Which version of the Plex app do you have installed on this iPad?
The navigation preference you mention is handled individually per client. The classic app used to have a preference to remember the previously selected tab. The current mobile app (version 2025.x.x) has a preference to show the browse or recommended tab for each library.

Confirmed, (Avatar) → Settings → Experience, Default Library VIew provides an option to force either Browse or Recommended. Not seeing the other views Collections, Playlists, or Categories there, just Browse or Recommended.
Would enjoy an option to force Home or force Library for the on-launch view.

It would be blank if you’ve disabled all the Plex stuff (On demand, Discovery, Live TV) and you haven’t favorited an of your own libraries (long-press Libraries, then see all libraries, then “heart” them).
