Hi Plex community,
I am trying to figureout if it is possible to playback plex content on a ipad and a monitor at the same time?
I have gotten a ipad(plex with offline content) to playback content to a monitor(via Apple dongle and HDMI cable). Video plays back on monitor, but doesn’t playback on the ipad(Just shows Plex interface). Sound is on the ipad only(Which is what I want).
We have 3 kids that sit in the back of my car, and one of them is about to be facing forward, so I am trying to figurout some monitor that can just mirror the ipad via a cable(showing the same content as the ipad). There could be other options, I just figured this would be the best one.
I don’t know if there is a plex setting or ipad setting I could click on to make both devices play video at the same time. I tested youtube(To possibly rule out a apple feature across all video apps), and it was able to playback content on both devices at the same time.
