iPhone Movie shot in Portrait playing in Landscape orientation

Expected Behavior:

Since the file EXIF data clearly shows that it is rotated, I expected Plex to transcode the video and rotate it to the correct orientation for playback. The file plays back correctly in VLC when played locally on my laptop.

Observed Behavior:

The file plays (incorrectly) in the landscape orientation. I tested with both Windows and Roku players with the same result.
