iPhone says my server is offline

Server Version#:
Player Version#:

I am running Plex on an Nvidia Shield. On my iPhone 7 it worked fine. I had to upgrade to iPhone 12. It sees my account. It sees the server but shows it as offline. Both the shield and the phone are on the same network. The PMS is running as I speak… what have I done wrong?? (And how do I fix it?)
Ten thousand thanks!

(All are running the latest versions of player and PMS)

I guess I’d paid to activate on my old phone. I’d be happy to pay to activate again— but the only option appears to be “restore purchase,” which I’ve now pressed over and over to no avail.

If you migrated from an older iPhone, you might need to authorize the Plex app to access your local network. If you didn’t get or authorize the request inside the app during the initial run, you can also enable it from the iPhone’s privacy settings.

If that’s not it… have you tried signing out and back in?

Thank you… it does have permission to access my local network and I’ve signed out and back in. I’m doomed!

Not sure what this could be.
Let it be said though… this has nothing to do with the app activation. The activation is bound to your Apple ID/account.

Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing the Plex client on your iPhone?

sadly… over and over.

Bump? Help?

Are you using 2 separate accounts?
Looks at least here in the forum you just switched accounts (albarnlvralbarlvr)

Yes! That must be it. I had to set up a new PLEX account. But I only have 1 google account., So maybe it won;'t authorize the new plex account because it thinks it’s already authorized? I wrote to plex and hopefully they can sort it. (I mean I’d HAPPILY pay to authorize the phone again!)
