i got the Intel NUC Kit NUC7i5BNK Product Specifications
awesome technology, the new bios allows to power down the fan manually. but i have one huge problem with the hdmi port. the “nuc black screen” fills the intel forum and theres no solution. after some minutes the screen goes black periodic. its a hdmi problem with some devices and some cables… i didnt solved it and its really annoying. no clue what to do now. have a nearly useless PMP for 500 euros…

Sounds like the problem Sony also have with their PS4 units.
I have plex embedded v2 installed on zbox EI750 i7 8GB Memory.
It can play everything (x264,x265,10bit) in direct play and stream and it outputs all soround sounds to my receiver without transcoding. It can play 4k SDR without any problems. Only HDR its converting to SDR because linux doesn’t support HDR. And if you change on your tv hdmi to PC you get the best picture. It’s connected over displayport to hdmi.
what is ur pms specs? and ur 4k h.265 or h.264
i can’t get to trans-coding to work even thu i got a good pms, 8700k + 1080 ti
so if u installed windows on that zotac it will be perfect? meaning it will direct play everything? what about audio ? DTS and true hd etc…
