Don’t follow the method on Reddit.
Just do those seasons manually, which you are currently watching. Leave the rest to get handled automatically during the scheduled server maintenance.
However the Reddit page does bring up a good point. I tried to manually kickoff intro analysis for a couple of seasons of a show I was watching and couldn’t get it to work. Then I noticed a comment that it selecting “Analyze” on a season doesn’t work if you’re locally connected to your plex server. Eg https://10.0.5.11:32400/web …
Sure enough if I connect to the https://app.plex.tv/desktop … web interface and then kick it off it starts working. Seems like some sort of weird bug?

not a bug, but a difference versions of the local hosted plex web, versus the web hosted plex web.

That’s a minor pet peeve of mine. I do not like that the current update for the plex running on my computer does not include the “correct” web client to use/control/operate all of the services/features contained within the version of PMS that installed the local version. Hmmm… sounds confusing typed out, but it is simple to me: PMS updates should always include the necessary web client to provide locally, otherwise the Plex master are REQUIRING us to have an internet connection in order to use our own server, within our own private network.
