Just wanted to know if there is a solution out there that will send your viewing statistics to AniDB. For instance when you add an anime in PLEX, it will be reflected on your anidb.net account, under lists. Or if you watch a show in PLEX, you anidb.net information is updated accordingly. Not sure if this exists, but I am definitely interested in such a feature.
@mike2238 - I did a quick search of the Plex Plugins section of the forum. Couldn’t find any mention of an active agent plugin that does it. You may get more response if you ask there.
There is a trakt.tv plugin that mentions using the aniDB database, but I’m pretty sure it’s read only (ie, the plugin tells trakt you watched something that aniDB described for trakt.)
EDIT - There’s a 3 year old ‘metadata’ agent that will pull data from AniDB, but again, pretty sure that’s just to get info, not register that you watched it - https://github.com/bstard/AniDB.bundle
I found it via Unsupported App Store v2 (UASv2) - see the Plex Plugins section stickies for more info - it’s a great app to install just about any github hosted plugin.
