Is PLEX getting sloppy? So disappointed

Very long time user and Plex Pass-er here and I’m writing this because I feel the need to express how frustrating and sloppy PLEX had become over the past year or so. The user experience for me has just started to plummet with bug after bug in the PLEX app. Over the past year it seems like PLEX is trying to built too much too fast and it results in a buggy sloppy mess that the users have to endure then workaround and it’s just horrible. For almost eight years I have been extremely happy with the performance and usability of the PLEX brand, I haven’t had many issues in the fairly complex setup I have running however, I feel like something has changed, like someone at PLEX isn’t doing their job well. Mainly the PLEX app, it seems to just be getting worse and worse in the past few updates, just buggier and buggier. The offline bug which isn’t fully fixed yet is still around, the new thing for me just after the last update is when playing something on Chromecast and I want to browse for something else I press the down arrow button (top left in app) to go ahead and minimize whats playing and try to select something to play next and PLEX just stops whatever’s playing on the Chromecast, that’s freakin annoying. How about if your going to get rid of something (plugins) PLEX that you make sure you aren’t alienating your customers by burdening them to find workarounds for your poor decisions. I understand that your numbers show that plugins weren’t being used much but one of the main plugins that I believe people did and still do want to use is the Trakt plugin and you don’t even offer support. So now everyone who uses this has no true way to make Trakt work fully. The webhooks are not as robust and only do part of the job in terms of replacing the plugin, I just feel sort of abandoned and it sucks. I know PLEX doesn’t care about me caring to track what I watch but man, I don’t know, maybe give a sh_t a little. There are a bunch of other thing I could just go on and on about but I’m not. PLEX… get your SH%T together! You have something great don’t F it up now, end of whatever this is. Thanks.

They need a REAL support escalation process where paid members can open real support tickets and have a real support person work with users to either fix the problems or log it as a bug and update the user on the progress of ths fix.

i totally agreed. Plex is stealing money company.
Company was good 5 years ago, now its just the big stupidity stealing money i ever see.
I also suspect a mining software integrated. Each week i got 100% cpu until i kill this stupid software.
Company also wont want to refund for her not working and UNFINISHED product.
There are NO support at all.
Billing say to try the forum, but they wont answer. and they delete message.

They only want your money, now they have nothing to do with you… just just a customer like others one.

The problem is: they want to be on ALLLLLLLLLLL TV, all ROKU, all hardware to look good company, but they dont know how to code correctly, all bug, sound not transcode, or sound very low, hey it was working last year with the same movie, now no sound ?! hahah stupid company.

Image for movies, its just a big lol. how that **** can match “Lion king” with “The Kitchen”, its not the same word, not the same size, not the same encoding, not the same sound)… but they match together to be the same movies.

How new people will buy this SHI_T ? the free version not work beter than if you paid.

each week, cpu come to 100% until i kill it… and 3 years after i told the bug, they wont fix… so why 100% cpu non stop all the days if im not home ? look like mining. i dont add movies, and all check to scan are off. so why 100% when im not home :slight_smile:

and no, i dont have virus, tryed on many computer always the same problem.
