I wanted to play Northern Exposure, found it on Plex, got a premium account[ then after selecting on plex a message stated that i had to play it thru VUVU or Prime for a fee. This is not what i expected with a premium subscription!
did i do something wrong? OR is it true one cannot watch found titles thru Plex for no extra fee?
A Plex pass is unrelated to the free streaming content.

Plex does a few things and maybe none of them are what you are looking for.
Plex will let you run your own server, and organize and play back your own video files, like home movies, DVD rips, and mp3s. Plex Pass features have to do with this usage.
Plex will let you watch ad-supported free movie and TV shows that are provided by Plex, in the Plex client. This source is named âMovies & Showsâ and it can be used even if you do not run a Plex server.
Plex will help you discover where to watch things on other services, but your usage of Plex, even with a paid Plex Pass, has nothing to do with your access to these other services. Youâll still need your own accounts to watch the content that Plex highlights.
