My interpretation of this feature is that I can get just a single trailer extra for each movie and no additional ones. Currently, I have been downloading all extras. Being that I never use them I figured I would enable this skip other extras function. However, when I’m going into individual movies and doing a refresh I’m noticing that all features are disappearing, including the ones that are correctly identified as trailers. Would someone be able to test and see if this is working?

Can you explain where you saw this feature? Plex does not have a feature like this. When gathering trailers and extras, it will get everything it sees. There isn’t a way to limit it to just trailers or just extras.
@sovereignstar - maybe you have to disable that option in both places. That is under the advanced options for the library, through
Edit Library >>> Advanced >>> Plex Movie Settings >>> Skip extras which aren’t trailers checkbox
as well as
Server Settings >>> Agents >>> Plex Movie >>> Gear icon (Plex Movie Settings) >>> Skip extras which aren’t trailers
I didn’t try it in case I lose everything like you have. If @“MovieFan.Plex” can confirm for us that it works like it says it is supposed to, I’m gonna disable the extra “Extras,” because most of them are not worth watching.
Thanks @leelynds for sharing where that option is. I checked both places and the setting is the same, I think they are linked together.
Yes, I think they are linked together, since it says in the edit movie library section that it will effect all libraries using that agent. I did try disabling the extras that aren’t trailers some time ago, and refreshed one movie and saw the same results you did. I re-enabled it right away, so that overnight the “Butler” wouldn’t refresh the movies and lose all of the extras.
Wow, that setting got past me. I didn’t even know it was there. 
I just tried it and it appears to work for me. Please note that when there is only 1 trailer, you won’t get the extra hub. There will be a “Play trailer” button at the top.

So is it working this way for you? Just want to confirm that you were looking for the hub which won’t be there, but that the trailer is still available through the icon above.
I usually have a local trailer as well as the downloaded ones, so the hub is almost always visible, because there are two trailers. I DID know that if there is only one extra, and it’s a trailer, the hub disappears, but completely overlooked that when I tried that option. My bad!
On a side note, there is some sort of evil satisfaction when we Plex users can stump the Plex employees with an option they were not aware of…
