Is there a new player planned for TIVO in the near future with improvements?

Server Version#:latest for synology
Player Version#: tivo 3.13.13 the tivo itself is on 20.7 software , but this was also happening when I had HYDRA on it .
is there any planned updates for the TIVO player ? I have issues where it won’t play a movie , but it does play on the browser on a win 10 computer Firefox 72.0 same for subtitles on the screen . it shows on the computer but not on the tivo to tv. this only happens on some content, so it’s hard for me to figure out where the issue lies

looks like we Tivo users are s.o.l. also I don’t see Vizio mentioned under supported tv’s . guess roku is all I have now .
