Is there a Plex app for the new LG OLED C7 TVs?

I don’t see it anywhere and I couldn’t find it to download.

I think those things are either built in, or they’re not. Plex doesn’t develop them anyway, so you’ll have to see if there’s a way to get a privately developed Plex app on your LG TV and this may lead to a solution:

Down in ‘Method 2’ is where LG TV’s begin, but I have no idea if any of that will help. LG users will have to chime in.

There’s a third party client called XPlay, but I haven’t tried it.

Which webOS is your TV? There is currently support up to WebOS 3, you can use Media share as a work around with PMS and DLNA. Not pretty but functional. If you wish a plex app soon, i would suggest to purchase a Roku and connect with HDMI. that would be you best bet, now.

That would probably be the most sane approach - at any time. These smart tv apps ain’t that smart and come bundled up with a whole suite of their own, unsolvable and persistent issues. Just look at the countless threads about LG TVs unable to connect to the Plex server ‘out of the box’.

Fortunately the Plex app for my model LG has served me well. I’m happy but your absolutely correct in saying there are lot of New model LG Hurt. Not forgetting Samsung, Vizio, Sony without app support or with stacks of issues. In my case the extra spend for a Roku has been serious considered, I just haven’t needed to go down that road. I must admit I’m a bit Jealous of that lovely OLED, we agree that a box “Roku” will solve the problem.

Hi,

The links you posted for http://www.filebot.net appear to not function due to a server side issue, as is stated on that topic, Flash content displays when using http or www, but not when using https . Since you’re reporting those links I suspect you’ve read the reply from a staff member stating the server is reporting error 403 - forbidden when the content attempts to load the “swf file”). If you have other links that exhibit the same issue, please post them here, otherwise, we don’t have much to go on since the links you’re reporting already don’t function correctly (most likely due to a server/content issue). :expressionless: :expressionless:

Google Chrome embeds Flash Player and updates are distributed by Google. Version 25.0.0.148 is the latest version of Flash Player.

Maria

Are we on the same page here?

I think “Maria” is spammer - I sure wouldn’t click any of her links unless you’re wearing a body-condom - six-ply. Those kinds of bugs don’t just wash off.

I edited the 2 posts with the bogus link in them to remove them. Filebot link is legit.

Yes it is - that’s what put “Maria” on the spam-radar. That and the fact we weren’t even talking about FileBot.

…Is that you, Maria?

lol

That’s funny.

Guess you noticed “she” is gone.

Nice work - that THAT “Maria”!

Thanks Guys, i couldn’t make Heads nor Tails out that Rant.

A spammer that had his posts removed. So reading after the fact won’t make sense since the posts were removed. Nothing to worry about.
