Is there a specific file naming for tv series & episodes

From what I can observe while adding files to my TV library PLEX requires season and episode file names to include the string “se” in order to properly catalog TV shows by season and episode. It would be nice if PLEX could interpret the string “Series *, Episode *” to also be a TV series/season and episode combination. Otherwise, I will need to create a task to insert the PLEX required string into all TV programs I download from the internet.
