Is there a track limit for an album/folder?

Does the new Plex Music scanner have a limit of tracks that one album or folder can contain? I have a couple of custom compilations and podcasts with 2,000+ tracks and the scanner seems to freeze on them every time I’m scanning through the library. I’m trying to note which ones seem to break it and remove them from the library temporarily, but is there a method to getting around this limit if it does exist? And if there is a limit, what is it?

I don’t see that LS.io has that one available yet, but I definitely will when it does. In the meantime I’m just moving the hang-up albums out for the time being and restarting the scan.

Engineering has been working on handling the “Make a fake album and use as a Playlist” handling.

It was discovered and because it’s not a formally listed metadata entry, they need special handling of it.

I don’t know the progress of that work but do know they did identify what they needed to do.

Folders over 1000 seem to work fine, or at least not cause Plex to hang, 1.18.1.1973
