Appreciate that this is probably a niche request but can you please remove the 200 song limit from an album?
Other Plex players don’t have this limit (well, PMP, Plex for iOS, Plex Web and Plex for LG don’t), just Plexamp.
It’s also worth noting that, on the iOS app, tracks greater than 99 are reported in the UI as “1…” with the last track being “2…” (before you hit the limit)
I feel like this is some kind of technical limitation. I don’t see them just adding this limit for giggles but I have to ask… What album has over 200 songs? The largest album I have is Tiamat - The Arch of the Covenant: The Complete Century Media Years which is 12 discs and 131 tracks. It is properly splitting it into the 12 discs so the track numbers don’t get close to 99+ tracks.
It’s a self made album. Basically “Now that’s what I call music” split into 10 year chunks with all the rubbish songs removed. There are about 600 per album.
However this 200 song limit only exists in Plexamp - it doesn’t exist in Plex for iOS, Plex for LG, Plex for web, Plex Media Player or the API that Plex exposes to Sonos.
You’re right in that I could just split the albums down further. However it does seem a bit silly to go to all that effort to do that when Plex is perfectly happy with albums that size and only one client has an arbitrarily set limit.
I am also seeing the same limitations to the number of albums under an artist. My Grateful Dead collection has more than 200 live album releases. Plexamp will only load the first 200 chronologically…will that be fixed as well?
