Is it possible to automatically display all the seasons without having to click “See All”
When the “See All” ‘feature’ was first introduced I spent an afternoon on my Plex Server digging around looking at chmod permissions to try and figure out why all seasons greater that 12 had disappeared off the plex media player.
Its just another unnecessary click that I can do without. Its like being micro murdered everytime this pointless step has to be carried out. Seconds stolen from life.
This issue seems to be raised by other Lifetime members with no fix or response. I also have family members who still ask where thier shows have gone due to this UX fail. As per:
When set to “Hide,” all episodes of a series will be shown without the intermediate Season selection in clients. Is this what you mean? If not, can you explain what you’re looking for in greater detail, perhaps with screenshots?
Hi, many thanks for the prompt response. No, this has nothing to do with a the Player based UX. That is a server based option to remove hierarchical management of seasons. If this was turned on for South Park, it would turn 25 Seasons into a scroll nightmare of 320 individual episodes.

Why just display 12 Seasons??? You only discover that you cannot see the other seasons until after you scroll down. At this point a user either assumes that there are only 12 seasons or know that not is the case where they need to know that they now must scroll backup to “See All” and click that. Then again, scroll back down to then select the Season you wish.
An massive UX mess.
At the very least the “See All” option should be at the bottom of the limited display of only 12 seasons. A better option would be to remove it completely or even allow it to be turned off in settings.
