I’ve seen this question asked before but has there been any third party tools created to chnage actor images? Will Plex ever integrate this feature? Is there a place where I can vote for this feature to be implemented. I think most of us here knows Plex will pull from TVDB whatever the last scraped image was for that actor. This of courses causes lot’s of problems where an actor will show up as an animated character. I’ve attached an image of an example of this. I know I can refresh the metadata, but given how often TVDB is altered I don’t feel comortable blindly refreshing data. It would be much more efficient and correct to just allow me to upload the image I want for an actor.
There won’t be user-defined actor images in the near future.
The isse with the role-specific images will be solved when the new tv show agent is released. Which is currently in development.

I wanted to ask a quick follow-up question. When you say no user-defined actor images, does this mean that the images being uploaded to TMDb or TheTVDB will no longer be used, and Plex themselves will provide images?
