Plex is pulling actor images from the web but I would like a way to change the image.
Specifically Diana Rigg is pulling a picture taken shortly before her death which is WILDLY unflattering and I would like to use the one from her days with the TV show The Avengers. I have the file just need instructions to use the local file.
Plex doesn’t consider local files for actors.
Has anyone made an extension of the PLEX meta data control?
No way to spoof the cache?
@dulsin You can go to TheMovieDB and vote up the images you do like if you have a free account there and images with the most votes become defaults. Diana Rigg has 3 different profile images. I voted up the older B&W headshot and it “took over” as the default so you’re likely gonna get a new image for her at metadata refresh (maybe tomorrow).

Edit: You can also - if you follow the rules - add your own images, but there isn’t a way to select different actor images like you can with posters and backgrounds.
Edit2: Found the TMDB rules for profile pictures in case anybody is interested.
