is there a way to change the name of audio&subtitle track

Hi,

I wan’t to know if there is a way to change the name that is display when we choose between different audio & subtitle track because sometime there is 2 subtitle in the same language (one full and one partial [only when they talk in Chinese, alien…]) and for the audio it’s a little bit less of a concern but like when I have an track 5.1 dts hd master and a track 5.1 dts lossy … it show up identically in plex

is there a way to use the “title” of the track instead of the codec/language as shown in the MkvToolNix

If it’s not possible then I think it would be a great feature to add… let me know

You cannot change the audio track. DTS master audio, or whatever HD audio codec, will usually be 7.1 and regular DTS, 5.1

For subtitles what you can do In MKVToolnix is if you give a subtitle track the “forced” flag it will show up as so in the player apps. forced are the sub tracks with only text during the parts not of that language

Respecting audio/subtitle track labels within a container would be useful. For me, the headache is determining which is the commentary track. I always eventually find it, but what a PITA.
