Is there a way to delete a posting?

Somehow, this one was entered as answered, I have re-posted. But, every single forums screen, I get a little box on the bottom left that says I have posted something that has answers, and, I need to accept / reject it. It takes me to the link above, where I can see no way to mark it. I’d prefer it just go away.

Any hints?

to be clear a black “Answered” just means someone responded, and the message is asking if that was the correct answer with the option of yes or no ( its seems it it counting your own posts too which is weird. will see if there is a way to disable that )

A green Answered" with the check mark means you clicked yes that is was the correct answer/solved your problem etc

if you say no the thread will go back into the Unanswered Queue
