I keep getting a prompt saying “You’ve asked questions that now have answers. Make sure you accept/reject the answers”.
When clicking on the link, the only one which shows is the following:
This has no replies, but I did edit my original post when I found the solution myself. Is there any way to mark this as answered or am I permanently stuck with this prompt?
Same problem a couple of times. Found you need another reply to clear the annoying prompt, or add another reply yourself. (and then you can reject or accept the new post as an answer). Don’t know why editing a post gives you the prompt, but it seems to…
I think that you can reply to that post and then mark your own reply as an answer.
I believe that works but I never see the inane “You have answers” popup because I use the “Start a discussion” option even when I have a question. I just find the popup notifications annoying (I have most of them turned off in my profile’s settings) and it is easy to avoid the one(s) involving questions by never using the “ask a question” option.

That usually does work, but if it doesn’t, it may be that something is corrupt in the forum software, and it will take some attention from a moderator to fix. It’s happened to me several time, so I too no longer use the ‘ask a question’ option.
