After I installed PMS 1.11.0.4666 on my CentOS machine (which by the way never was offered as Update), to sort my movies in collections, now I have a plethora of automatically created collections like a “The Magnificent Seven film series”, a collection for each sub series of mcu, many collections only containing 1 movie and so on. What i had planned was to sort my movies into collections I created (I had planned things like a “MCU” Collection, “Superheromovies” and so on. Is there a way to get rid of all these automatically appearing ones and only get the collections I create? Otherwise, the whole thing is more than useless and would be ignored.
Alternatively, if there is no way to get rid of these collections, is there a way to remove the feature completely?
That heled in parts (on getting rid of the automatically added collections), it’s just some work to get rid of alle the single movie collections which were added.
What I don’t get is the following:
“There are two common sources for “automatically added” collections.”
I have neither enabled the “Use collection info from The Movie Database” setting, nor have I any album tags in my mkv Files. So where did these collections come from and is there a possibility, that they will appear again
Since the movies I have are converted from my blue rays, and mp4 was problematic with multilanguage, multi-subtitle files, yes, all are mkv. But since my Server is at least 5 years old, that may be the cause of the whole collections. It might also explain, why only some movies belonging to a collection where in there, while others where not.
