Yes. I put my AppData and the transcoder folder on a separate drive so if I need to move my setup, I just take the entire drive, change these 2 settings in PlexWeb and I’m good to go.
@MovieFan.Plex I used your son’s speed test link that you sent. See details here…
MUCH LOWER uploads that what i was seeing from Xfinity speed test sites. Any new recommendations now?

Huh?

If that is what your uploads look like, there isn’t much that can be done except to lower the quality down to 2 Mbps.
Sorry that speed test link didn’t com from you. It was suggested by another person (@rsava) on the thread. Sorry about the confusion @MovieFan.Plex.
Should i lower the speed on PMS or the client(s)?
Quality is always set on the client end. The one you see on the server is actually for the Plex Web client.

I only have McAfee installed. Are u saying check that during a remote streaming attempt?
One of the best ways to speed up a computer is to uninstall McAfee/Symantec/Norton and replace it with an antivirus that isn’t a known resource hog. Those 3 lean on their name recognition to get sales and pre-installation bundling deals, but are some of the worst out there in the AV field at actually catching malware and doing it in an efficient manner.
