I am sorry if this is not the proper place to put this. Is there a way to either through Plex or a 3rd part program to read through a set of files and choose a specific track and sub? Say if I put a series in my Anime folder it will automatically grab the Japanese audio and English subs.
The closest thing is go to Plex web - settings - server - Languages
Thanks for the suggestion! Right now I already have it set to Prefer audio in Japanese but the subtitle mode confuses me a bit. The options are show always on which I think is too much because I watch non anime stuff and I don’t want to keep manually turning it off, the same issue comes up for manually selected.
The last option is “Shown with Foreign audio”. It would seem like that would be the one I would want but I stated earlier that I made Japanese my preferred audio. Because of that it will make an English show do subtitles because it thinks English is the foreign audio.
I am considering remuxing these files and just remove the extra subs and audio tracks but I was hoping that their would be another way.
