Is there a way to get a Plex Server on one NAS see and use files ona diffeent NAS on the same network?

I’ve just installed the Plex Server plug-in on FreeNAS (11.2 stable) which is running on an HP Microserver, so I can watch films on my LG TV with the Plex app, rather than through Kodi on an Amazon Fire TV box (as some large file sizes buffer and stutter a lot).

I’ve got it all set up and working with the 2 hard drives in the Microserver, but I also have other NAS drives (Netgear, Lennovo, Buffalo) that can’t have Plex Server installed on them, so i was wondering if there was anyway to get the Plex Server in FreeNAS to access and run movies off other NAS drives all on the same network?

Cheers

Yeah mount your other Nas shares onto your freenas and use them as a local folder on your Plex server.

Cheers for the reply.

How do i mount them? as when i go to the mount option or the jail it only ever shows me the drives inside the Microserver not the others.

how about that…

Thank you.
