Is there an upper limit (max) number of tracks in a playlist

I’ve been going through my library of over 1200 albums to create a master playlist of favorite tracks. I got through C and D today (alphabetical by artist) and noticed that my playlist stopped with the Cure. And at 153 tracks.

Which means I spent about an hour adding tracks to a list that (may have been) full.

Is this the upper limit? I notice another list of holiday music I put together similarly has 153 tracks, so I’m thinking it is.

If if is, you might consider dropping an error rather than letting the user think that the tracks are getting added.

Love plex for so many things. Sometimes the music and photo parts aren’t quite as ready as the video bits though.

I’m looking for the same answer. I got to 138 and it won’t add any additional tracks. Luckily I was probably only to 150 before realizing it stopped, so not much time was wasted.

There is something odd since we both have different “limits”…and on some reddit threads, I’ve seen people say there isn’t a limit, but I can’t find any info on why it’s stopped where it did.

I’m not aware of any limits, but I have a playlist of just over 1000 tracks, and one of about 800. They both seem to perform just fine. Not sure what might be causing your issue.
