I made albums for 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s music…each containing over 1000 tracks. Plex will go up to 999 and then 100…as if the programmers only set the track numbers to 3 places. What’s up with that?
Yes, there is a limit of 3 digits. Plex is designed to place tracks into an album, and right now we expect there will be less than 1,000 tracks per album. You can create a playlist with more than 1,000 tracks, but an album has limits.
I just noticed that using Plex on Roku will show 1000+ track numbers. Weird that the Roku app will show it but the desktop app wont.
