So considering the the program guide I was tinkering around with the plex program guide and I have to say it is not very descriptive. Examples might be like which channels are the perpendicular show from or the end or stop. Cable Tv guides unusual show a great format that show whats on next to next week.
Correct the current EPG is not like your typical EPG you might see where it shows whats on now ans next and you can scroll days ahead. Currently you can use any online service like zap2it to see old EPG style for your current listings and I can only assume and hope that this is being worked on in the plex world so users can chose old style EPG or the Plex style EPG.
If you have HDHR you can use the HDHR VIewer plugin which again is not like older EPG but you can set it to show you whats on now and next few airings for that channel.
