Is there any way to see the EPG without a DVR?

I want to see what the EPG looks like for my area before spending the money on a HDHomeRun, is there any way to do this?

I do not think there is a direct way to do this - but I got a couple of helpful ideas when I ask the question earlier:

(I just do not have the free time to experiment.)

The Program Guide looks the same regardless of what area you are in. The only thing that changes is the number of channels/shows you would have displayed in the different categories: Starting Soon, On Right Now, New Episodes Tonight, My Upcoming Shows, Recommended For You, Upcoming Movies, Upcoming Sports, Upcoming News.

.
If you are wanting to see what channels you have access to OTA you could use a site like: TV Guide, TV Listings, Online Videos, Entertainment News and Celebrity News - TV Guide to see your local OTA station guide or Antennas Direct | TV Transmitter Locator and Mapping Tool to see how close the local broadcast transmitters are to your home and what stations each transmitter broadcasts.

Because the EPG quality varies by country you can ask your fellow countrymen what their experience is. There may also be alternatives, for example in Australia EPGs aren’t very programmatic so there’s a paid EPG source that is hand curated for the last minute changes imposed upon that poor nation by their dropbear overlords.
