Is there any way to get search to match "Extras" content?

Is there any way to get text searches to match names of bonus content (“Plex Extras”) entries within a given title?

I wanted to watch “The Matrix: Revisited”, and knew I had ripped it from my DVD, and made it available within Plex originally. But now, I couldn’t find it within my Plex library - no search of “Revisited” would match anything applicable.

I finally did a manual filesystem search on my source media drive, and realized that I had apparently structured it as a bonus feature against the original movie (duh…)

If a search for the title had matched this Extra content, then this confusion would not have been apparent. Why doesn’t it?

Is there any way to get searches to match content within such Extras? I recognize that searching for something like “deleted scenes” could subsequently result in hundreds of matches - but it seems that this outcome would be better than completely ignoring such content which is definitively known to Plex.

Plex currently doesn’t search for local extras (nor online ones). So you didn’t miss any secret options/settings to enable this.
