Was really hoping there would be a lifetime membership deal. Anyone have news if Plex will post one?
Saw that new subscribers could use PLEX4LIFE for 25% off. I tried it…didn’t work (I have annual plex pass)
Was hoping there would be something for the rest of us too. 
I, too, was hoping for a Black Friday deal as well. That 25% deal was only good for 2 days when it was announced.
I bought a Lifetime Plex Pass about a year ago for $75. They’re not offering it anymore?
No. It’s $149 for me.
I don’t get why they would let only new subscribers use PLEX4LIFE, and not the old ones. Aren’t we, the old subscribers the ones who kept the app going?

Guys if you already have a subscription why would they offer a Plex Lifetime. Buy a lifetime or sit it out. It’s your choice. For me the plex pass perks changed and I was lucky, Live TV and DVR did it for me after a Lifetime offer. appeared in my email box. I could not have jumped to attention quicker, bought a HDhomeRun from SiliconDust and parted with $75US for a lifetime Pass.
All my LAN devices are included in the subscription, so what is stopping you?
I have been waiting for a whole year for the black friday deal, wish they said there was going to be no black friday sale when they had the 10 year one as i would of got a lifetime pass then.

Yeh, that kinda sucks… But your dollar is not worth as much as CAD and USD so I kinda get it… But seriously… If you’re paying monthly for it, and you’ve been doing that for a while, you’re better off just biting the bullet than waiting for a discount that may never come… Think of what the $160 + what you’ve already paid monthly for is…

The $149 is in Canada.
Its probably not working because you have an annual pass already.
By not offering the switch, Plex is saying that their existing customer base does not matter as much as new customers.
I canceled my annual after they would not allow me to purchase the lifetime… I had been paying annual for 5 years… I was told they would let me buy the lifetime once my annual expires, but Im not holding my breath at this point.
