App Version #: 8.15.2.23984 (Beta)
PMS Version #: 1.22.1.4275
So since the update to the Home Screen\On Deck, I’ve had a weird thing happening on my Android App.
The Home Screen loads then disappears and only with a pull down (refresh) does it reappear (sorry I accidently did a screen shot during the screen capture).
Is this supposed to happen?
It’s definitely not supposed to do that. I could guess what the app is trying to do but I would probably be wrong.
What I can tell you is that you should clear the app data of the app, uninstall, reboot your phone and then reinstall the app. This should make that stop and never return.
I get that this is a possible resolution to what’s happening, but it only started when they changed the way the Home Screen/On Deck works. So before I go just clearing everything and reinstalling it. I’d like to see if a Plex Employee wants to look into “why” this might be happening? Doesn’t help if this is a possible bug that needs to be addressed.
@OttoKerner Thanks for the Edit? I assume it was just moved to a different tag, but if you do that could you at least acknowledge that’s what you did? All I get is a notification saying you edited it. Thank you.
That looks as if you’re using a manually managed Home Screen? That will be deprecated from April 22, so I suggest you migrate to the Automatically Managed Home Screen, and see if you still see the issue there.
