is update 1.9.6.4429-23901a099 bugged?

hello

first time poster… is anyone having issues with this update? my server is not able to retrieve any music since this update, even though the library is stored locally on the server. Has anyone else had this issue? running on mac high sierra 10.13.1.

thanks

ON another note-

is there a way to restore plex to an older version? things were working fine prior to the latest update.

does anyone have an answer?

I’m not sure what you mean by retrieve music. Can you explain your issue a bit better?

plex was working fine until latest update.

with the newest update, as mentioned above. loading plex server pulls up my library (music, movies, pictures), but cannot access anything once you click it. The server program freezes, nothing happens and need to force quit.

plex server and plex client for the past year was working fine up until then.

please help

bump again…

i would like to uninstall and reinstall plex server.

how do i delete the plex media library that the plex server creates? I feel like somehow this file got corrupted because media server can not pull up any music/movies/pictures, although the files are right on the drive that the server is installed.

does anyone have information on this?

again,

the server freezes up and i cannot create a log file to download and report this to plex. the cursor swirls and swirls and cannot access any type of media on the drive, even though all media is on the same drive as the server. I have to force quit the server because it is frozen in perpetuity.

plex gurus please help. I really enjoyed your product up until now

@chong0 Make sure you’re on the latest release (1.10.0) and if you’re still experiencing the same problem please provide the log files so we can see what’s going on. You can grab the logs from Settings -> Server -> Help -> Download Logs.
