My Remote Access stopped working and I can’t pinpoint the cause. Even after disabling Virus Protection, Windows Firewall, and my Router Firewall, it’s still Red and CanYouSeeMe says it can’t see 32400. Even reinstalled Plex Server.
Is Remote Access broken or is Xfinity blocking the port?
For anyone still having this problem, verify that comcast isn’t using ‘xFi Advanced Security’ on your modem. I would get sporadically able to access plex, but it would block connections constantly and not alert me. I stumbled across the setting under ‘my services’ and found it was blocking all requests to plex. Disabling this solved my issue (takes about 5-10 minutes to fully disable). Good luck
